Barbados Bob was on a diplomatic journey to the United States from his home in the Caribbean. His small ship sailed along idyllically on a beautiful moonlit night. Suddenly the sky darkened and the ship was unexpectedly caught in a squall. Barbados Bob was swept off the top deck by a mighty wave into the sea. All through the night his faithful crew searched for him to no avail. Little did they know the Barbados Bob had been rescued by a Mermaid and brought to the shores of Cape Cod. As she dropped him off safely on the shore she whispered in his ear, "You shall open a Raw Bar and sell the freshest seafood in the land."
