Raw Bar News

After thirty-three years of running the Raw Bar I have decided that this coming season will be my last year. I am pleased to announce that Matt Gelly, who many of you know from Bleu and the New Seabury Country Club, will be coming in to run the day to day operations of the Raw Bar and Café. Matt and I will be working closely together this season to ensure a smooth transition. I hope you will welcome Matt into the community the same way you have welcomed me. As usual, most of last year’s staff from the Raw Bar and Café will be returning to help Matt and me with this transition.

On a personal note, I’d like to say thank you to all of the staff over the past 33 years. Without you the Raw Bar and Café would not be what they are today. Over the years I have met a lot of great people at the Raw Bar and Café.  I have been with you for good times and tough times. I have watched your children grow up and have their own children.  I have laughed with you and I’ve cried with you over the people that we’ve lost along the way. You have supported the Raw Bar’s charity events and together we have contributed to many organizations in our community.

You have also stood by me when I was having health issues. You have sent me cards, letters, flowers, emails, and texts, checking in with me to see how I was doing. Your offers of rides and other help really supported me and my family and lifted our spirits during this challenging time.

It’s been a great thirty-three years. Thanks for all your support over the years. I love you all.  God Bless!!!!

PS I’ll still be around this summer to yell at you……..
