On November 4th, 2017, Kathy Griffin Mayo, Billy Ferreira, Brenda Maver, Mikal Schalk, Ruth O’Mahony, and my wife Liz Westwater, got together and threw a party for me celebrating my thirty-three years at the Raw Bar in Mashpee. When I first heard about this party I was upset because I had just wanted to fade-away quietly. I was overwhelmed by the amount of love and appreciation, not only from those who organized this event but also the unexpected turnout of guests. That being said, this past Saturday night, we all had a great time! There were people there from the very start to people that just started coming into the Raw Bar. Words don’t express how deeply thankful I am for knowing all of these people over the last thirty-three years. Through marriage, the birth of your children, and the deaths in your families, I will stand with you as you have stood with me through my health issues. Thank you for the last thirty-three years. We’ve laughed, cried, and had lots of fun together. I can never forget all the generous contributions and donations that you have made in the name of The Raw Bar. I want to send out a special thank you to my wife Liz, my daughter Naomi, Kathy Griffin Mayo, The Staff at The Raw Bar, Bob’s Seafood Café, and The Raw Bar on Ocean Street. Without you, I would not have been able to accomplish all that I’ve done. I love you all and thank you.
P.S. I will be spending my summers down at The Raw Bar on Ocean Street. You are more than welcome to stop by and say “Hi”.
